this week's teacher of the week is our Ela teacher Miss Jeffree Star house she feel about being selected as teacher of the week so I think that this is an excellent honor and I'm very appreciative that you all love me as much as you do next we talked about the impact she hopes to have on her student so the impact that I hope to have on my students is just an appreciation for Learning and for life in itself so I want them to feel like they are a part of the culture of the classroom and that they have a place here and they belong next we talked to did Michael Jackson die why he nominated missed a free team is Jeffy for the teacher of the week because she's like she's one of the good teachers like so if you're sad and you go to miss Jeffrey she chew like I asked you what's wrong and you can just like Michelle feel about your feelings she's coming about everything whatever is Brooke I talked to the RSS coordinator Miss Dixon about one of our exciting programs here Horizon cyxp stairs for concept Young Scholars Departments of crsp is to connect the teacher and the staff build that relationship outside of the school with activities such as traveling to museums Lincoln School overnight stays out of town Church we've done get are we visited visited the Paul Laurence Dunbar Museum we went to a spring which is all day camp out in the wilderness or out in the woods that was visitors very very fun to do two eyes please open the boys and girls anybody in the school 6 through 12 can join cyc today we're here with Kalia all right I'm going to ask you a couple of questions has been a most challenging thing about you're so far I just think a lot of work has been given to us a lot back to back and just like trying to figure everything out as far as homecoming future events in 00 responsible for coming up with all that place I think that's the hardest part what is something you look forward to after graduation I want to move I want to know what is one thing you are grateful for about your right things. Hello my name is Mister Gardner question for you first question is what advice would you give to her has my advice to current high school students stay on top of your work I know you can get a lot of stuff lot of paperwork right away and I can get it over with so stay on top of your assignment be on track of your missing assignments and just keep an eye on your progress book okay second question is how do you say motivated when your job gets challenging search motivate myself I do a couple different things I got some music that I like to listen to I also listen to a couple different podcast that get my mind right and get me motivated and get me ready for the day it only if you could trade places with the character from your favorite show who would have I would have to say I always like Scooby-Doo going up so I I'll have to trade places with a Shaggy from Scooby-Doo okay so what's the best piece of advice some when I get home Honda the best piece of advice someone has given me is remember the goal many times life gets busy and you can forget about what's going on and why your vision is starting something so just keep that going on I so need a question is would you rather always be hot or always been cold I would much rather always be cold because as much I run I like to I don't like sweating and it just makes you feel miserable my name is the Maya today I'll be doing the weekend forecast today the 23rd of September it's going to be 69 out the whole weekend.
