Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well.
We are excited to announce the upcoming parent-teacher conferences, which are an essential part of our commitment to your child's education and growth.
These conferences provide a valuable opportunity for you to meet with your child's teacher(s) to discuss their academic progress, strengths, areas for improvement, and overall well-being in the school environment. We believe that open and regular communication between teachers and parents is vital for your child's success.
To ensure that your conference time is as productive as possible, we encourage you to do the following:
Schedule Your Conference: Please sign up for a time slot that works for you by visiting: https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Horizon_Science_Academy_Dayton_High_School . We kindly request that you schedule your conference at your earliest convenience to secure your preferred time slot.
Prepare for the Conference: Before the conference, review your child's recent report card, any assignments or assessments, and make a list of questions or topics you would like to discuss with the teacher.
Share Information: Be prepared to share any relevant information about your child's life outside of school that may affect their performance or well-being. During the conference, the teacher will provide insights into your child's academic progress and behavior, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your child's educational journey. It's also a chance to set goals and strategies to support your child's development.
If you find that the scheduled conference time does not work for you, please do not hesitate to reach out to the teacher(s) directly to arrange an alternative meeting time.
Your partnership is greatly valued, and we appreciate your commitment to your child's education.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We look forward to meeting with you during the parent-teacher conferences.
