Ohio West District Science Fair

Horizon Science Academy Dayton High School participated in the West District Science Fair on March 17th at Central State University with 2 students. Our students made us proud by collecting various special and monetary awards. Here is the list:

1) AsanteSuperior Award, qualified to State Science Fair in Columbus.

He is the recipient of the 2018 West District Science Day Award presented by “The little Miami Watershed Network” in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the passage of the Ohio and National Scenic River Acts and the Little Miami River being the first river in Ohio to obtain those designations. 

$50 Monetary award and an invitation for their reception

Outstanding Achievement is presented to Asante A. by Central State University Department of Water Resources Management.

$50 Monetary Award is given by the Central State University Department of Water Resources Management.

 Asante also received U.S. Stockholm Water Prize Regional Award, given to only two students in the Montgomery Science Day.

 

2) Zyan W. Excellence

Outstanding Achievement is presented to Zyan W. by Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology

50$ Monetary Award
