Horizon Science Academy (Dayton High School) presents its first version of the morning announcements. Interviews and stand-ups were conducted and recorded by our high school students in Mr. Williams' photography class.

this week our gym and health teacher mr. Wilkinson was nominated as I very first teacher of the week I spoke to Mr Wilkinson's fellow staff Mister Williams about why he would nominate mr. Wilkinson of the week because he automatically had to be the department leave for the specials on the evening just walking by his class I see students I'm having fun especially Taliban in jail when they playing volleyball playing basketball throwing the football and he's always encouraged he always did they have the opportunity to speak ACL teacher Miss Barry about the three pillars of our school and this is what she has to say Beyond the Horizon culture and instruction I feel like it's encouraging the school I feel like it's something that students is useful for students I create a culture that is welcoming to the students making sure there's a safe space and my class and then life Horizon with SEL also using strategies that they can use Beyond Horizon as well too and then instruction teaching them especially with self-management was talking about right now that is something that I can use in class as well too you get to understand your thoughts and emotions your behavior you can understand how to assess yourself in different situations in the last year we have added SEL photography on the front of a ship and character education I talked to our care certification teachers Mystic you allow them to dive deeper within themselves how to figure out who they are what they want to be and then who they want to be in the future is called question time I'm here at the Beaufort from if you could trade places with a character your favorite from your favorite movie or TV show what would you choose and why I always choose Esther I'll probably choose Black Panther on YouTube like and what kind of looks fine it's a lot better than being in here okay if you could be any Emoji which would you be the blank face emoji piece of advice someone has given you don't be afraid to fail that you don't even try hello mr.
